Description:

We have a full walkout fairly new basement in montgomery county about 950 sq ft,ht 8 ft.We need basic basement finish just the drywall and electrical. All the work needs permits to be drawn by the contractor. Kindly send an estimated quote. The work to be performed is as follows: •Electrical work( material and labor budget $1800) Recessed lighting fixtures will be installed prior to the drywall with dimmer switches located by the staircase .Two separate zones for recessed lightning -one in the main room( 12 recessed lights) , one by the large window(6 recessed lights)..Add-in 3 closet lights, and 1stair-well recessed light, an additional light installed at the back door and controlled by the switch at that door. Electrical outlets according to the building code at the code ht .The recessed lightning and outlets will be run off the separate breakers in the circuit panel .Install one cable line per wall( 4 walls ). •Wall framing and drywall installation(material and labor budget $2200) : All exterior walls and closet walls framed using 2x4 wood studs. Three closets framed -under the steps (bi fold door), sump pump, water and electric panel .The bottom plates of the framed walls will be treated lumber .Moisture membrane installed between concrete floor and bottom plate of the wall. Access panels for shut off valves and as required .During the construction of the framed wall, bulkheads will be built into the ceiling to accommodate drywall installation around utilities in the basement .Trap doors will be constructed in the way so no utility is closed behind drywall.Basement rated insulation installed in the framed walls as required by the building code. At least half inch drywall installed to the wall and the ceiling. Wood trim installed at the baseboard, door jambs, window jambs and surrounding utility trap doors.
